PLATFORM
WordPress

Rogue Food Conference brings food and health focused events to a new city once or twice a year. Speakers, tickets, and recorded talks all needed a home on one WordPress site. ebusiness WP built a system that handles all three, and the organizer now runs it himself.

The Challenge

Before the new system, every event required a new landing page, a new round of ticket sales, and a fresh set of speakers to feature. John Moody manages his own WordPress content, while custom design and development work required additional support.

Speaker details lived in scattered documents, and there was no easy way to connect a speaker to the events they’d be attending.

The Solution

We built a repeatable landing page template, so a new event goes live without a design project attached to it. Ticket sales and digital downloads run through the same commerce setup, which means attendees can buy a ticket now and the recorded talks later.

Speaker profiles moved into Advanced Custom Fields: photo, name, company, and bio, all in one structured record that connects directly to the events they’re part of.

The Result

Rogue Food Conference can launch and manage events from one reusable platform.
It also unlocks new revenue by selling event recordings alongside tickets.
